Parent Code of Conduct

All Lowell Rec Basketball games and practices take place inside of Lowell Public Schools. LPS and the Lowell School Committee expect certain things in exchange for use of their facilities:


  • Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • No food or beverages are allowed in the schools. EXCEPTION - Players are allowed to bring water in water bottles to have on the bench.
  • All schools have trash barrels in the gym or just outside in the hallway. Do not leave trash in the bleachers.
  • Players and families are to limit themselves to the gymnasiums and bathrooms nearest the gym.
  • During games there is no playing with basketballs anywhere in the gym.
  • There is no wandering or playing in the halls.
  • There is ABSOLUTELY no going in classrooms.


Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in Lowell Rec Basketball having permission to use the facilities revoked and a cancellation of the remainder of the season.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

Lowell Rec Basketball has a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding abuse (physical/verbal) of Officials, Coaches, Players and other Spectators. Anyone in violation of this policy will be asked to immediately leave the school.
